Chilliwack Community Garden & RAN Mission
It is so great to hear stories from gardeners at the Chilliwack Community Garden of their overabundance of produce this summer! Located in downtown Chilliwack on the former location of the Paramount Theatre, the community garden is thriving. Plots are free with priority going for those with low incomes. Half of the produce yeild goes to the Ruth & Naomi (RAN) Mission, the other half may be kept by the grower. RAN uses the produce for their daily dinner program serving the poor in downtown Chilliwack.
We are privileged to help this program by donating wood chips for the pathways between the garden plots, and our GroZone soil for the garden plots.
